ITINERARY

Day 1
Arrive into Zurich
Begin your ‘Scenic Switzerland’ Tour
Welcome to Zurich. On arrival, you will be met by your Tour Manager / Local Representative outside the customs area, who will welcome you and take you to your hotel.

Day 2
Orientation of Interlaken
Visit to Aare Gorge & Reichenbach falls
After a continental breakfast, we check-out and drive to Interlaken one of Switzerland’s best known health and pleasure resorts. On arrival, proceed on an Orientation tour of Interlaken. There’s time to relax at the many cafes or shop for Swiss watches, chocolates, Swiss memorabilia, etc.
Next, we take you to visit the Aare Gorge. The Aare Gorge is nearly 200 meter deep and hardly more than a meter wide at its narrowest point. The fascinating, narrow gorge is the result of a limestone rocks, the “Kirchet”, which hindered the flow of the Aare from the Grimsel region. Over the course of millenia, the water has eroded various paths – today’s Aare Ravine is the most recent of those paths.
Later, we visit the Reichenbach Falls are a series of waterfalls on the Reichenbach stream in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland. They have a total drop of 250 metres. At 90 metres, the Upper Reichenbach Falls is one of the highest waterfalls in the Alps.

Day Free
Suggested Excursion: Visit to Jungfraujoch
After a continental breakfast, the day is free OR we suggest a visit to Jungfraujoch. We drive to Lauterbrunnen, from where we board a train to Jungfraujoch the highest altitude railway station in Europe at 11,333 ft. takes us along lovely lakes and mountain passes. On top of Jungfraujoch, experience the magic of the mountains at the Sphinx Terrace. See the breathtaking Jungfrau Peak and the awesome Aletsch Glacier. Also, visit the Ice Palace, where you see a beautiful display of sculptures made of ice, while being encased in ice yourself. Send a postcard to your friends and relatives from Europe’s highest altitude Post office with its own special postmark.

Day 4
Visit to Mount Titlis with Cliff Walk

Cruise on Lake Lucerne
After a continental breakfast, we proceed to Mt. Titlis which at 10,000 ft is the highest peak in central Switzerland. As you journey to Mt. Titlis in two different cable cars, you will be amazed as the scenery changes from green meadows, scenic lakes to snow clad mountains. The last leg of the ascent will be in the world’s first rotating cable car called the ‘Titlis Rotair’. At the Terrace on top of the Mt. Titlis summit station, weather permitting, you could take a stroll on the latest attraction at Mt.Titlis – The Cliff Walk.
Next, we proceed for an orientation tour of Lucerne. See the Lion Monument, ‘Lowendenkmal’ hewn from a limestone cliff to commemorate the bravery and loyalty of Swiss Guards.
Later, we take you on a leisurely cruise on lake Lucerne. In the evening, you have free time to shop for Swiss army knives, chocolates, watches, souvenirs, etc.

Day 5
Day trip to Geneva, Montreaux and Vevey
After a continental breakfast, we will be going for Day trip to Geneva, Montreaux and Vevey.
Geneva is a city in Switzerland that lies at the southern tip of expansive Lac Léman (Lake Geneva). Surrounded by the Alps and Jura mountains, the city has views of dramatic Mont Blanc. Headquarters of Europe’s United Nations and the Red Cross, it’s a global hub for diplomacy and banking.
Next, we proceed to Montreux, a traditional resort town on Lake Geneva. Nestled between steep hills and the lakeside, it’s known for its mild microclimate and the Montreux Jazz Festival, held in July. The town’s promenade is lined with flowers, sculptures, Mediterranean trees and grand Belle Époque buildings. Offshore is a medieval island castle, Château de Chillon, with ramparts, formal halls and a chapel with 14thcentury murals.
Later, we proceed to Vevey a town in Switzerland in the canton Vaud, on the north shore of Lake Geneva, near Lausanne. Vevey is one of the “Pearls of the Swiss Riviera”. Its lakeside location with breathtaking views of the Alpine panorama, its extraordinarily mild climate, the vineyards, numerous excursion destinations in the region and proud paddlewheel steamers on the lake characterise this town.

Day 6
Day Free
Suggested Excursion: Visit to Mt. Schilthorn and
car-free Mountain village – Mürren
After a continental breakfast, the day is free to explore on own OR opt for a visit to Mr.Schilthorn and car-free Mountain village – Mürren On this excursion, we drive through the largest glacial valley in Europe to Stechelberg in the Jungfrau region. We then take a series of cable cars on the way to the Schilthorn. Our first change is in Gimmelwald followed by Mürren – both car-free mountain villages accessible only by cable car. The next cable car will take you to Birg; here you can enjoy unimpeded views of the entire mountain panorama and breathtaking views into the depths from the transparent platform, ‘Skyline Walk’. The final cable car ride takes you to the Schilthorn summit at an altitude of 9750 feet. Here, we visit the interactive multi-media exhibition “Bond World 007” showing scenes
from the James Bond movie ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’. You can also see the world‘s first ‘007 Walk Of Fame’ a unique tribute to the legendary James Bond film where cast and crew members leave their traces at the legendary 007 movie location. The ‘Skyline View Platform’ offers spectacular views of the Swiss skyline, including Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. You can see as far as Mont Blanc in France and the Black Forest in Germany.
Later we descend and arrive at the pretty carfree mountain village of Mürren by cable car. Fill your lungs with unpolluted and fresh air on a brief walk or just enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountain peaks and the scenery. We then, descend down by the next cable car to Stechelberg and drive to the hotel.

Day 7
Orientation Tour of Bern

Return Home with Wonderful Memories After a continental breakfast, we check-out and drive to Bern. On arrival, we proceed on an orientation tour. Bern is the only Swiss city to be accorded World Heritage status. See the Clock Tower, the Parliament Building and Gothic Fountains.
Next, we drive to Schaffhausen to see the mighty Rhine Falls. Admire closely the thundering beauty of Europe’s most powerful waterfalls. The gushing water rushed over the cliff each second offers the visitors a stunning view of the cascading waterfalls.
Later, we proceed to Zurich. On your orientation tour of Zurich, see the St. Peter’s Church with the largest clock face in Europe and the famous churches of Fraumunster, known for its beautiful stained glass windows created by Marc Chagall and Grossmunster with its twin Romanesque towers.
Later, we proceed to the airport for your flight back home. It’s time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made. We hope you take back many happy memories of your holiday. Exclusions

  • Any increase in the air fare, fuel surcharge and taxes charged by the airlines on your air ticket (calculated at 2nd January, 2017 rates).
  • Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in all land arrangement which may come in to effect prior to departure.
  • Cost of extension of the validity or deviation from route of your air ticket.
  • Cost of the Suggested Excursions.
  • Porterage, laundry, telephone charges, all items of personal nature and also food and drinks not forming part of the group menus.
  • Mandatory tips of CHF 3 per person per day for Coach drivers, Guides etc.
